Yes. Our mobile medical units are equipped to treat 98% of the conditions typically seen in a standard walk-in clinic or urgent care. This includes testing for Strep, Flu, and COVID-19, treating infections (UTI, sinus, ear), managing migraines, and performing procedures like stitches or wound care. If you have a life-threatening emergency (chest pain, stroke symptoms), please call 911.
We operate as a direct-pay (cash) practice to ensure you receive the fastest, highest-quality care without insurance limitations. We do not bill insurance directly. However, we accept HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA cards. We can also provide a "superbill" for you to submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
Home health typically involves scheduled, ongoing nursing care for chronic conditions. Mend Medical provides acute medical visits—similar to what you would receive at a doctor's office or clinic—but for immediate, unexpected illnesses or injuries. Typically, our services are significantly less expensive than an Emergency Room visit. ERs often charge "facility fees" that can run into the thousands, even for minor issues.
